Television Group released a statement that reads in full: âDespite the revisionist history that Ruby Rose is now sharing online aimed at the producers, the cast and crew, the network, and the Studio, the truth is that Warner Bros. Dot has adopted a few skins but is still struggling to fit into the boxes formed for him. His lyrics throughout the album speak to confusion and paranoia. On “FEEL” he offers a litany of all the constantly opposing emotions that swirl through his mind as he goes from pimp to preacher. He is a self-proclaimed former gangster who must now speak to the salvation of the youth — a long-standing tradition among the older, wiser OG members of the community. He’s a rapper who is no less misogynistic than his peers, even if he doesn’t blatantly target women —a fault commonly forgiven when the lyrics read as positive and spiritual. Throughout many songs, Kendrick and his featured guests return to the idea of being (or not being) humble. On the album’s most radio-friendly track, “Loyalty” Rihanna croons “It’s so hard to be humble”, and on “Pride” Kendrick repeats that he "can't fake humble just cause your a** is insecure" – a direct about-face from the album’s lead single“Humble,” pantyhose without feet
