The best advice that other women of color in doc have shared with me that I think is the most affirming thing is just call yourself what you think other people should call you. Sometimes people underestimate how difficult it is to name yourself when you don't see anyone else around you who are doing that thing. Sometimes that affirmation is not going to come until it comes from yourself. There are so many incredible black women who are making docs and finding that community of people and being able to see that mentorship [is so important]. mcm all black belt is out on Netflix, Daniel is thinking about his next move.
