Founded in March by two of my close writer friends, this project encourages students across the country to share their stories and come together, no matter how hard COVID-19 tries to drive us apart. The project is inspired by the infamous novellas by Giovanni Boccaccio, which recount the stories that a group of young Florentines shared to pass the time while sheltering outside the city during the Black Death in the 14th century.
