For Drew Carter, a sophomore at Pomona College, recorded lectures are just one step in making college a more inclusive place for low-income students who might be working part-time or serving as a caretaker while attending school. Especially in recent years, the majority of projects now seem to be based on books because the source material either has such a following already or is so well-written or is such a great story that people really want to see it brought to the screen as opposed to just imagining it.
