It’s great that Harris ended up helping Biden become president, and that we now have the first Black and Indian-American vice president. But that’s not the same thing as her winning the nomination outright. It may sound like I’m belittling Harris, minimizing her accomplishments as a U.S. senator and state attorney general, or outright insulting her. That could not be further from the truth. I am a huge fan of Kamala Harris and I think she will be an incredible vice president. In fact, I think she will eventually be an incredible president should she choose to run. But America does not agree and that is why they didn’t support her when she was the one running.
